Terms of Service for Languissimo®

Welcome to Languissimo®. By accessing our website at www.languissimo.ca or enrolling in our language training programs, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you are a minor, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Services Provided

Languissimo® provides language training services through virtual platforms and, where applicable, in-person at student-specified locations. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service at any time.

3. Payment Terms

• Fees: All course fees are payable in full at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• No Registration Fees: Languissimo® does not charge an annual or one-time administrative registration fee.
• Payment Processing: All payments are handled securely through Stripe.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Notice Period: Any request for a refund or course credit must be submitted in writing to info@languissimo.ca no later than two (2) business days prior to the first scheduled class.
• Cancellation Fee: An administrative cancellation fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00 CAD) will apply to all eligible refund or session transfer requests.
• Late Requests: Requests received less than two business days before the first class or after the course has commenced are not eligible for a refund or modification.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users are prohibited from:

• Using the website or services for any illegal purpose.
• Attempting to scrape, "data mine," or extract content from our website for commercial use.
• Sharing course links or proprietary learning materials with non-registered individuals.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including curriculum designs, logos, text, and website materials, is the exclusive property of Languissimo® and is protected by Canadian intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

Languissimo® provides its services on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis. We do not guarantee specific linguistic outcomes or fluency levels. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Languissimo® shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

9. Changes to Terms

Languissimo® reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
